This is a license to use the Finish List app, not a sale. You agree not to reverse-engineer it. The free version is free forever. Pro is a subscription — you can cancel any time. We're not liable for productivity outcomes. Full details below.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using Finish List (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and End User License Agreement ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and DCF Concepts ("we," "us," "our").
For users in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and Switzerland: By using the App, you acknowledge that you have read and understood these Terms and our Privacy Policy, which form the basis of our agreement with you.
2. License Grant
Personal, non-commercial license
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use the App on Apple iOS devices that you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial purposes.
Apple platforms
This license is limited to use on Apple-branded products running iOS as permitted by the App Store Terms of Service. You may use the App on any Apple device associated with your Apple ID.
Restrictions
You may not: (a) copy, modify, or distribute the App; (b) reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App; (c) rent, lease, or lend the App; (d) use the App for commercial purposes; (e) remove any proprietary notices; or (f) use the App in any unlawful manner.
3. Subscriptions & Purchases
Free tier
The core app is free to use with no time limit. No credit card is required.
Finish Pro subscription
Finish Pro is offered as an auto-renewing subscription at the prices displayed in the App at the time of purchase. Current pricing: $7.99/month or $79.99/year. Prices may vary by country and are displayed in your local currency before purchase.
Free trial
A 7-day free trial is offered for new subscribers. Your payment method will be charged at the end of the trial period unless you cancel before the trial ends. You will not receive a separate notice that the trial has ended.
Auto-renewal & cancellation
Your subscription automatically renews unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. To cancel: go to Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions on your iPhone. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period — you retain access until then. We do not issue refunds for partial subscription periods.
Payment processing
All payments are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive, store, or have access to your payment card information. Subscription management, refunds, and billing inquiries are handled by Apple. For refund requests, visit reportaproblem.apple.com.
Price changes
We may change subscription prices with reasonable notice. Price changes will not affect your current subscription period. You will be notified before any price change takes effect.
4. Intellectual Property
The App and all content, features, and functionality — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software — are owned by DCF Concepts and protected by intellectual property laws worldwide. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks, logos, or brand features.
Your tasks, session data, and personal content remain your own. We claim no ownership over content you enter into the App.
5. Privacy
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the App, you consent to the data practices described in our Privacy Policy.
In brief: your task and session data is stored only on your device. Subscription status is processed by Apple and RevenueCat. We do not sell your personal data.
6. Age Requirements
The App is intended for users aged 13 and older. By using the App, you represent that you are at least 13 years old. If you are under 18, you represent that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms.
We do not knowingly permit users under 13 to use the App. If we learn that a user is under 13, we will take appropriate steps.
7. Disclaimers
No warranty
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES.
No productivity guarantee
We make no representations or warranties regarding productivity outcomes from use of the App. Results vary by individual.
8. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, DCF CONCEPTS AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE APP SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR $10 USD IF YOU HAVE NOT MADE ANY PAYMENTS.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitation of liability, so some of the above may not apply to you.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless DCF Concepts and its affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your violation of these Terms or your use of the App.
10. Termination
These Terms are effective until terminated. Your rights under these Terms will terminate automatically without notice if you fail to comply with any provision. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the App and delete all copies from your devices.
We reserve the right to discontinue the App or any part of it at any time. Subscription fees paid for future periods will be refunded through Apple's refund process.
11. AI Features & Acceptable Use
Extract from notes
Finish Pro includes an optional "Extract from notes" feature. When you use it, the text you paste is transmitted to our server and forwarded to OpenAI (via Replit's AI infrastructure) to identify action items. By using this feature, you consent to that text being processed by OpenAI. The text is not stored by us or by OpenAI beyond the duration of the request.
Acceptable use
You agree not to submit content that is unlawful, harmful, or violates the rights of others through the AI feature. You remain responsible for the content you submit. We reserve the right to limit or disable AI feature access for users who abuse the service.
Rate limits
To prevent abuse, the AI extract endpoint is rate-limited to a reasonable number of requests per hour per device. If you exceed the limit, you will receive a message asking you to wait before trying again.
12. Third-Party Services
Apple App Store
The App is distributed through the Apple App Store. Apple is not a party to these Terms and is not responsible for the App or its content. In the event of any conflict between these Terms and the App Store Terms of Service, the App Store Terms shall govern.
RevenueCat
We use RevenueCat to manage subscriptions. RevenueCat's privacy policy governs their processing of subscription data. See our Privacy Policy for details.
OpenAI / Replit
The "Extract from notes" Pro feature uses OpenAI's language models, accessed via Replit's AI infrastructure. Your submitted text is governed by OpenAI's Privacy Policy and Replit's Privacy Policy during processing. Neither party is a party to these Terms.
13. Governing Law & Disputes
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. This does not affect any mandatory consumer protection rights you may have under the laws of your country of residence.
EU/EEA consumers
If you are a consumer resident in the EU or EEA, you benefit from any mandatory provisions of the law of the country in which you are resident. Nothing in these Terms affects your rights as a consumer under applicable local law.
Dispute resolution
We encourage you to contact us first at info@dcfconcepts.com to resolve any dispute. EU residents also have the right to submit disputes to the Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. For material changes, we will notify you through the App or via email if you have provided one. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
